Worked for Gujarat Board of School Textbooks (Gujarat state) for 33 years, retired as Deputy Director, Research in December 2006. At present, honorary officer for a Jain Research Institute viz. Shrut Ratnakar, main function of which is to impart knowledge of Jainism.
